This painting was another experiment. I was trying to learn how to paint details such as trees and grass. The reference for this piece was a photo I took in winter almost in the very center of Alicante.
Despite the climate and the fact that the landscape in those areas often feels closer to a desert, I happened to find this beautiful green corner among the grey-beige tones of the city. I photographed it and later decided to turn it into a painting.
