This painting is an interpretation of my work "Hora Dorada." I painted it from the same reference I took one summer evening in the Campanar district of Valencia. That’s where the name comes from. In this piece, I used the technique of contrast by combining opposite colors—yellow along the horizon and dark blue in the shadow areas. This resulted in an impressive contrast.
