I painted this piece in a single session after a long creative pause caused by a period of mild burnout and the summer heat, with temperatures approaching 40°C, which made it difficult to get to my studio. Even so, creating this painting gave me both enjoyment and the motivation to keep working.

The scene is based on a reference photo I took during my recent trip to northern Spain. It depicts the picturesque cliffs of the Atlantic coastline near Bilbao, with their soft, pastel colors.
