I painted this study using a reference photo I've now returned to three different times. This time, however, I decided to experiment with the colors.
Since I don't always have enough new references to paint from, I occasionally revisit older ones, as I did in this case. Each time, the result turns out differently, which is a nice reminder that my skills keep improving.
