I photographed the reference for this painting around the fall-winter of 2023 when I lived in Alicante. It depicts the view from a mountain located between the center of Alicante and the San Juan district. One of the few things I loved about living in Alicante was witnessing the incredible sunsets from the mountains within the city itself.
