Finally, something other than a study — a slightly larger format, although the idea remains the same. This is the first painting in a while that isn't part of my series of practice studies. Still, it was another experiment, just in a slightly larger format (A3 instead of A4).
I still can't quite paint water in a way that makes it look harmonious. That was the part of this experiment that didn't work out so well.
The reference for this painting was Playa de Sopelana, a beach near Bilbao that I visited this summer while staying with friends.
