This painting was an experiment. I intentionally chose elements that are challenging for me in order to learn and practice specific techniques. I took an unremarkable photo from my phone gallery, captured during a trip to Dublin, adjusted the composition, and decided to paint it.
Overall, the result turned out quite successful within the context of this experiment. The only thing is that I feel I may have slightly tilted the horizon — but that’s exactly what experiments are for.
