This painting was experimental. In it, I tested specific techniques — particularly the movement of palm branches in the wind and the level of detail. In my opinion, the experiment was not entirely successful, but that’s not the main point; despite everything, I still learned something new.

The work was inspired by Postiguet Beach in Alicante. The scene captures a windy day in January.
