I painted this etude from a reference I captured a few weeks ago. Without any particular expectations, I decided to experiment with some of my weaker areas — especially light and shadow, the contrast between them, architecture, and trees.
In the end, the result turned out much better than I expected. Still, in my opinion, the piece lacks a bit of precision and cleanliness in the lines and brushstrokes.
