I painted this piece inspired by an old reference I found in my phone gallery from northern Spain. It captures a landscape typical of that region — a gloomy day, a restless yet majestic ocean reflecting the color of the overcast sky, and mountain slopes covered with vivid green grass, hanging dramatically above the water.

With this painting, I wanted to experiment and try new approaches for myself. I also set a personal goal to convey the sense of calm I felt while looking at the reference — and honestly, I feel I managed that quite well.
