I caught the reference for this painting completely by chance. I had wanted to paint a similar angle for a long time but never dared to try. Then one day, while walking through the city, I saw this view and thought: “Wow… why not?” Why not give it a try — even if it’s challenging, it’s exciting.
Eventually, I did. The result turned out pretty good, although not exactly the way I imagined it. This piece also took me almost a week to finish, while I usually spend 1–3 days on a painting.
