I painted this piece based on a reference photo taken in September in Paris. It depicts a view of the Esplanade des Invalides under an evening sky.

In this work, I tried to capture the feeling right after the rain — especially by painting the wet pavement. It didn’t turn out exactly as I had planned, but the result is still not the worst.
