This painting captures the view from the very top of Santa Bárbara Castle, located in the heart of Alicante. It shows one of the lower towers, the rocky slope, and the sea — all seen from an interesting top-down perspective, from the castle’s highest point. I noticed this scene in late September 2025 and decided to paint it two weeks later.
