I painted this piece based on an older reference showing a view of the sea from Santa Bárbara Castle in the center of Alicante. In this work, I tried to capture the atmosphere of a setting sun and the early moments of twilight.

In my opinion, the painting turned out quite well, although there are still some issues with the composition.
