I painted this etude from a reference photo taken during my recent trip to northern Spain, near Bilbao. The dramatic landscapes of the Atlantic coast have always inspired me to create. This time, I chose a rocky coastal scene, focusing on the steep cliffs that define this beautiful shoreline.
