«Platja Gandía» is a winter artwork created by Oleksiy Zhukov during his stay in Gandia. The painting portrays a minimalist beach, divided into a sunlit section and a shaded area with sand and sky. The interplay of colors creates a captivating contrast where the shadow intersects with the sunlit portion. The sea is nearly one hue with the sky, as calm waters reflect the sky's color; however, to distinguish the difference, the water is rendered slightly darker. This artwork represents one of the final pieces Oleksiy crafted before leaving Gandia.
